  Got a recommendation for this place by the awesome owner of Massey Books. It's just a few steps off of main, and the inside is pretty hip. They got slam dunk manga on the tables and they bring you bills within the books, so you know they're hip. The server was really nice and my food was brought asap, in less than 5 minutes. The menu doesn't have much variety but it all looked really good making it touch to choose.
  
  I ordered the Braised Duck Noodles with a Soy Egg ($18) which was a noodle bowl with some of the tastiest broth and chewiest (tastiest) noodles I've ever had. The dish came with a side of 4 spice flavorings, but I didn't really load up on any of them after I had tried each once. Reminder, those noodles were tasty. The duck was also really good too. It was a decently sized leg, but my main complaint about the dish would be id hope for a bit more meat for the price I paid! I left feeling a tad bit hungry. Mind you the food I had just eaten was damn delicious.
  
  This is a place I'd recommend to anyone in Chinatown. Cool vibe, good prices, quick service, delicious food, beside Massey Books :) I'd look for a bit bigger portions to bump it up another rating, but this is a strong 4 in my books.

  I meet with a couple of girls every month to catch up and and this time, one of my gfs was craving some koi soi.
  
  Fat Mao noodles is situated in China town, same street where Phnom Penh is and practically beside the The Ramen Butcher. Fat Mao Noodle is a modern noodle bar that focuses on Thai/Chinese noodles.
  
  Since it was my first time, I wasn't sure what to get. We ended up ordering two koi soi noodles and a Fat Mao ceviche as an appy.
  
  Fat Mao Ceviche
  Tuna mixed with Thai vinaigrette and served with a side of tarot chips! Yum!
  
  Koi Soi Noodles
  You can switch up your noodles, but I kept the regular noodles. This is a curry based noodle with a big leg quarter served with crunchy noodles on top. To me, this was ok. I found the broth quite sweet. I prefer my broth in soups to be on the savory side.
  
  Overall, I will come back, but I want to either try the braised duck noodle or their southern beef thai laksa

  Delicious noodles! We had the mushroom and coconut with flat rice noodles, duck with regular noodles and roti. Very flavorful and the broth is rich. The roti we could have done without, it's not worth the price.
  The parking is street parking only in chinatown so don't leave valuables in your car...you'll understand why when you park. Would I line up for a bowl of noodles? No. But it is a good place to try if you're craving noodles. We went slightly off peak hours so we got a table right away and service was good.
  And it is a very small place, don't bring your kids! They don't have a high chair for you!

  Pretty good variety of soups ! So far I have tried the sweet and sour and the Two different coconut (Mushroom and Shrimp) Gotta say the Mushroom one was much better but they have changed it to the shrimp. Side note I believe you can still ask for the mushroom one to be made for you even thou it's not on the menu :) All is all a cool spot to check out when you want to try a soup out. Pretty good portion too.

  Love love love... It's another restaurant of Chef Angus An. I first heard of An after visiting Maenam years ago, which I fell in love with. This modern noodle bar did not disappoint. I was on a monthly "foodie date' with Juice. We both wanted to get some hearty bowls and decided on this is a perfect choice. Chinatown is only a five-minute drive from both of our homes. Best last minute decision ever!
  
  Juice has been to Thailand and lived off Koh Soi so she was excited to see it on the menu. It was served with wonton flat noodles & crispy noodles. I tasted it too, to die for! I can speak better to my order, I got Hot n Sour Pork with wonton flat noodles. It was phenomenal, after my first taste I literally swore lol. It was that good. Explosion of warm, comforting flavors. Think of Tom yum inspired soup, plus I added chili oil. Such great condiments on the table. Big chunks of juicy tender pork.
  
  I will return for more dishes!! And Singha beer! It's in Chinatown, if you drive good luck parallel street parking (we got lucky). I did see a public lot too just across the alley.
